The Southwest Challenge was created to inspire hope and provide support for sick children in southwestern Ontario.
Being not for the faint of heart, this ride will test even the most accomplished cyclist. The Epic 180 km route is a loop which runs from London, to Woodstock, through Ingersoll and Dorchester and back to London. If 180 km is more than you can handle, there is the 110 km, the 60 km or this year’s new 25 km Family ride. All of these rides travel the beautiful, quiet yet challenging roads of Middlesex and Oxford counties.
Keeping safety as a priority, the SWC will be fully supported by police, motorcycle and support vehicle escorts, bicycle mechanics, first aid personnel and numerous ride marshals. No chance of getting hungry as there are numerous rest stops and lunch stops along the way. We will then celebrate the finish with a well-deserved post ride meal and a draw for many cool prizes.
